Mark Haworth-Booth
Green Party councillor for Landkey
Active on State
Council: North Devon
Term ends: 6 May 2027
I’m concerned with social housing which has been a failure under many governments for years and needs to be a priority. Climate change action is vital. Improvements are key at local level, such as the many great features in the Swimbridge Parklands - including the River Bank project created by volunteers at the end of Covid, the Wildflower Meadow and most recently Poetry in the Park. I work with the police on road safety and lead the Swimbridge & Landkey Community Speedwatch team. I test water each month on local rivers for the Westcountry Rivers Trust. I don’t do surgeries but do respond quickly to emails.

Road Safety
I lead the Swimbridge and Landkey Community Speedwatch team - new members always welcome. I’m helping Gunn with an electric speed sign (VAS), generously paid for by Cllr Andrea Davies. I regularly report potholes in the ward.
