Paul Hodgkinson
Liberal Democrats councillor for Chedworth & Churn Valley
Active on State
Council: Cotswold
Term ends: 6 May 2027
Paul has lived in the Cotswolds for 37 years, and had a successful local business, setting up his executive coaching practice in 2004. Paul represents the Chedworth and Churn Valley ward on Cotswold District Council. Since 2013 he has also been elected to the County Council, representing Bourton and Northleach, which had previously always been Conservative. Paul has secured funding for a variety of community groups, including Northleach swimming pool, fitness classes in Brockhampton and Shipton, outdoor gym equipment in Chedworth, and activity trails in Bourton. He has campaigned tirelessly on road safety and on local health services. Paul has consistently challenged the Conservative-run County Council to invest more in our potholed roads. He has also campaigned regularly and successfully for a solution to the A417 Air Balloon 'Missing Link'. He has been the GCC Cabinet Member for Public Health, Communities and Fire since May 2025.
